5 young heros
Attended the 5 young promising men memorial service today at Mandai Crematorium. Out of the 5 men, 3 were graduates of NYP and I know Reuben Kee personally.
Worked with Reuben for a few events when I was year 1, I was a noob back then and he was 2 year my senior. When I first saw him at the Auditorium, his smile just caught my eyes. To be frank, he is the eye candy for many girls out there, including me!
Have been reading the comments from both his friendster and the facebook group that was setup for him. He has left his footprints in many lifes of others, crossed their path and was a good example for many juniors.
They were once a NYP dragon and will alway be one. I believe the young dragons felt their passion for dragonbaot and was waiting for Reuben and Jeremy to come back and coach the team but it will never happen. I believe the young dragons will do their best for compeitions, not only for themselves but also for Reuben, Jeremy and Poh San.
They will continue to live in our hearts, especially for the young dragons. Lets not be sad for their departure but be happy that they are no more in pain. Be happy that they have achieved what many others cant achieve in their life and impacted so many people without knowing.
They should be rowing among the clouds now and looking after all the rowers out there in the water. They would want their passion for dragonboat to continue burning and their buddies to help them live their life to the fullest.
The 5 young heros have taught me many things to0.
- To cherish the time spent with family members;
- To treasure what you have now;
- Live your life to the fullest;
- Go all out to achieve what you want to achieve;
- and many more.

RCY Challenge - Challenge Oneself to Achieve!
The main committee had around 1 month to plan the camp, everyone was rushing and emails were flying in every minute! We need to do lots of travelling to get the logistics for the entire camp!
On 23rd November, we received the instructors and cadets for the camp. We had a hard time squeezing everyone into the Haw Par Hall. The camp started with marking of attendence and collecting of camp fees! We were ahead of time for the 1st day, pretty rare for a camp that has so many people!
The activities started and everyone was excitied as they dont know what they were be doing. The mood start to pick up when all the divisions started their cheering and screaming, and protecting their division's flag!
The highest peak came during campfire! The MC is none other than Lawrence Sir, camp chief of RCY Challenge. Everyone had their fun and even the most senior batch of the VI stand up and shake their butts!
As everyone know, the instructors never fail to take out their cameras and start to snap, snap and snap after campfire! Lots of photos were taken, other than taking photos according to batchs, we started to take photos according to poly, secondary schools and even primary schools!
Everything ended on Monday, during the handing over ceremony in Haw Par Hall. The RCY Challenge Flag was hand over to Mr Lawrence Quek, Chairperson of RCY Challenge 2008!
Lanyard for the best division was presented to Bravo! The cadets cried, the instructors cried too, for their hard work and bonding through out the 4 days 3 nights! Lanyards were presented to the cadets who have meet the criteria.
I believe everyone in a way or another have learnt from this camp, be it cadets or instructors. I have learnt alot too, I hope all the instructors enjoyed themselves especially those who was dragged in by me!

Do you know how scarly it can get when you know you can spilt your emotions? Should be εΎζζ. As in someone can be joking with you on MSN but he/she is actually crying infront of the computer screen?
I think that is called spilt personality, just how amazing it can get. What if that person has more than 2 personalities? Is he/she gona cry, laugh and having another emotion at the same time?

Sometimes it just your pride/ego or maybe the position that you are currently at or even the impression that others have on you.
I have never been weak in front of others not even my family. No matter what a bad day I have, I will never show it infront of my friends. I can even joke and laugh like how I used to be.
People around Joan will always think that she is self-motivated, has so much self-esteem and has the courage and ability to do certain things. Do they know when she is down with problems?
People may see Joan as a leader, a capable young lady, at times a motivator. Nobody knows that she can be lost at times, or faces problems in life?
No matter how strong a person is, he/she will still need that special support, he/she would want to be protected too.

SAW 4!
Caught SAW4 last night, to think that we actually bought Bee movie tickets and got ourselves into SAW4 theater. It was my 1st time sneaking into R21 theater X: It was all masterminded by stephen wong! He even thought of what to say if we are to be caught! LOL
The show has nice plot but you do have to follow through from SAW1 to SAW4 before you understand the whole story. SAW4 has all the gore and blood, what I hate most is the sound of the twisting bone! It was the sound that made me disgusted -.-
Is Jigsaw punishing those people or is he just sick? Watch SAW4 and answer it yourself. Watch the movie not only for the gore and blood but watch it with abit more understanding.

Was blog-hopping, read many of my friends' blog and realised that I have missed out alot. Missed out the gatherings, dinners, talk cock sessions and many more.
